We seek to award young promising students based on not only academics, but on character, demonstrated track-record of dedication to a particular occupational field, and their desire to make a positive impact to society. The Young Professionals’ Scholarship recipients are awarded a one-time $1,000 scholarship and lifetime access to The YPG Advisor Network.

When are the application deadlines?
The deadline for the 2008 scholarship has passed.  Applications for the 2009 scholarship will be available around January 2009.

How many scholarships do you award?
We have awarded 1-2 scholarships each year since inception.  Going forward, we plan to offer additional scholarships and increase the award amount. The actual increase will depend upon the contributions raised each year.

How much of the contributions are paid out as scholarships?
Unlike many non-profit organizations that pay their employees, The Young Professionals’ Group is run by individuals who donate their time, without any monetary compensation.  Thus far, 100% of all external contributions have been paid out in the form of scholarships.  All expenses related to our website, state licensing, IRS fees, etc. have been paid for by our co-founders.
